- Notre-Dame-en-Saint-Melaine
Info: It is dedicated to Saint Melaine, traditionally considered the first bishop of Rennes and who died here in the 6th century. The present building is classical and dates from the 17th century.
- Cathédrale Saint-Pierre
Info: Catholic cathedral and historic monument. Built in Neoclassical style, it is one of the nine historic cathedrals in Brittany.

- Fine Arts Museum
Info: Great part of the collection has been confiscated in 1794 by Marquis de Robien; it comprises European paintings and sculptures from the 14th to the 20th century, as well as African and American works of art, and Roman, Greek or Egyptian antiques.
